The Mind and I
Like a trap wrapped around a fuzzy piece of yarn,
It engulfs me, holds me tight.
I try to speak but it softly lulls me back into its trap,
Silently holding my tongue ‘til my words disappear
Into a labyrinth of sleep.

Sleep is bliss when it finally comes…
Is that not the truth!
Sounds delightful! Makes me want to snuggle down, myself.
Talk about minds! I could have sworn I left a comment re your Aberrations – but it may have been just a conversation in my head 😀 I liked the quirkiness of your friend.
